It's been a nasty, rainy, put-on-your-PJs-as-soon-as-you-get-home kind of week. We even experienced a traumatizing snowstorm here in North Carolina:
And while I'm all about staring out the window thinking deep, introspective thoughts, I'm glad for the sun to be back out.
In other news, I recently bought my first pair of high-waisted pants. In all honesty, I thought high-waisted pants were totally ridiculous until I actually tried them on.
I really didn't want to like them. I wanted to rebel against the fashion world, but they grew on me, darn it. And they completely disguise the fact that I have an awkwardly long torso paired with awkwardly short legs. Where have these been all my life?? Also, the pair I got is black, so they kinda sorta totally make me feel like Olivia Newton John in Grease.
This is one of those days where I truly have nothing of interest to say, so let me direct you to something worth reading.

I love your find of high waisted pants, I always try to like them but they just never work on my 5'2 frame. I would love to own a pair of light wash high waisted jeans but alas I cannot.
